LifeLine with Elton Young
“In the midst of brokeness the needs are great and a commitment to address, confront, and overcome life management barriers is required. As a minister, counselor, writer, and public speaker, I am committed to reaching the hearts and minds of others through the influence of the Word, the gift of public speaking, the power of the pen, and the providing of comfort to the broken hearted.”
Reverend Elton Young, MA
In the Beginning
What started as a Family Mediation practice in 1997 began to take on a new and expanded role in the latter year of our Lord 1999. By inspiration and direction of the Holy Spirit, Elton L. Young applied scripture from God's word that sustained him during the most challenging times of his life as the guiding force of LifeLine Ministries. A force devoted to encouraging the broken hearted, and bringing words of spiritual empowerment and comfort to the wounded soul. Elton L. Young is committed to empowering individuals, families, congregations, leaders, and communities at large in faith-based ministry, consultation, and educational services.
The Power of God's Word
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation." II Corinthians 1:3-7
"What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? ... Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter; Nay, in all things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
